ONE ON ONE SERVICES

Personal Support, Every Step of the Way

Sometimes what you need most is someone who knows your story and walks with you through it. Our trained nurses offer a Next Steps Program and our trained client advocates offer one-on-one support that continues throughout pregnancy and up to a year after birth because you deserve care that lasts.

Next Steps Program

Nurse-Guided Education During Early Pregnancy

Many women have to wait weeks between finding out they’re pregnant and seeing their prenatal provider for the first time. During that gap, questions, fears, and anxiety can grow quickly.

The Next Steps Program offers additional one-on-one support from PSS nurses during early pregnancy—including education, emotional support, wellness guidance, and an additional ultrasound appointment for eligible clients.

Topics may include:

  • Nutrition and healthy eating

  • Safe exercise during pregnancy

  • Medication guidance

  • Managing nausea and vomiting

  • Mental health and emotional well-being

  • Understanding physical changes

  • Goal setting for a healthy pregnancy

How To Join the Next Steps Program

This program is designed to help women feel informed, supported, and stabilized during the earliest stages of pregnancy.

Disclaimer & Eligibility Notes: This does not substitute for prenatal care. You must schedule your prenatal care visits with your prenatal care provider. Participants must have completed a new client intake appointment at Pregnancy Support Services.

Advocate Program

Our one-on-one services give you a consistent advocate who’s here to listen, encourage, and connect you with resources. This support isn’t rigid or one-size-fits-all. It’s flexible and based on your needs. That might look like:

Weekly check-ins during a tough season

Occasional conversations when questions come up

Practical help connecting to childcare, housing, food, or employment resources

Emotional support and mentoring as you navigate pregnancy and early parenting

How to Get an Advocate

To be matched with a client advocate, you’ll first need to become a PSS client through a quick intake appointment. From there, we’ll introduce you to your advocate and create a support plan that feels right for you.
